All of our packages are made using only high quality and where possible local ingredients.

 
Whether it’s a hen party, wedding proposal, wedding, anniversary or something else, these packages are designed to make your day as special as possible with you not having to worry about anything, especially having to pack your own picnic or wine!

Packages

 
The packages below are what we believe would complement your punting experience very well, however if you have something specific in mind please let us know and we will design a bespoke hamper just for you. (minimum 2 week’s notice for this service) We can design a bespoke package for a wide range of occasions including birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and much more.

All packages are minimum 4 people.

 
All prices below include supply of your own wicker hamper for the day, plates, napkins, cutlery and glasses if ordering drinks, drinks list at bottom of the page.

Please note: You may bring your own food and (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) beverage if you prefer.

Package 1: -Simply delicious- £12 per person
 
Tray with crisps
 
-Selection of handmade sandwiches including smoked salmon and dill cream cheese and rare roast beef with horseradish and caramelised onion.
-Homemade sausage rolls.
-Selection of crudités with crisps and dips.
 
Package 2: -Simply Cheese – £14.50 per person
 
Meat & Cheese
 
-Selection of Cambridgeshire cheeses with red onion chutney and olives.
-Selection of cured meats including Milano salami and Serrano ham with sun blush tomatoes.
-Rocket salad.
-Loaf of fresh ciabatta.
 
Package 3: – Fish platter- £18 per person.
 
Fish Platter
 
-Smoked salmon with crème fraiche
-Crab salad with chilli and coriander
-Local crayfish roasted with garlic and parsley
-mixed salad.
-Loaf of fresh granary bread.
 
Package 4: – Lobster Platter- £ 75 per person.
 
-Simply dressed lobster with lemon.
-Fresh oysters.
-Dressed crab.
-Local crayfish roasted with garlic and parsley
-Caviar crème fraiche
-Cucumber salad
-Loaf of fresh farmhouse granary or white bread.

Wines:

White wine:
-Sauvignon Blanc Finca el Picador 2010 Chile 13% £13.45
 
Delightful – all the fruit and freshness you’d expect from a great Sauvignon.
-Chablis La Colombe 2009/10, France 12.5% £20
 
Typical of what decent Chablis should taste like – not a trace of oak, pungent and flinty on the nose with a tad of creamy fruit underneath, this gets richer as the mineral characters give way to riper buttery sensations but then cut back by a long crisp bite. The kind of wine that gets nicer as you go along.
 
Red wine:
-Pinot Noir Anakena 2009, Chile 14% £14.35
 
Ruby red in colour, this Pinot Noir presents intense strawberry aromas with a hint of black pepper.
-Mr Smith Shiraz 2009, McLaren Vale Australia 14.5% £20.95
 
A preposterously lush Shiraz from some of the gnarliest vines we have ever seen, produce this dense, dark, brooding and incredibly impressive wine.
-Châteauneuf-du-Pape Domaine Chante Cigale 2007 France 14% £32.50
 
The wine has lots of warm red fruit and damson aromas, with cinnamon, spices and jam but also concentration on the palate; then richness and elegance to finish.
 
Sparkling or champagne:
 
-Primo Prosecco Frizzante nv Italy 10.5% £19.95
Classic Prosecco! A lovely light aromatic nose (herbs, crusty bread and peaches overlaid with the characteristic warm, earthy appley notes of the variety) leads to a confident, creamy, lemon-tinged palate and a bright, lively finish.
 
-Champagne Gustine NV, France 12% £37.95
This champagne shows fine mousse in the glass and fresh floral aromas mixed with characteristic toasty yeast overtones, which are balanced by richer fruit and classic baked biscuit flavours with a crisp citrus finish.
 
– Champagne Henri Giraud Espirit, France 12% £71.00
Fine Bubbles with a blonde hue, typical of mature Pinot Noir Intense notes of fruits, such as peach and pear with a hint of vanilla, white-pepper and frangipane. Fresh, delicate and generous at first on the palate, with a lovely minerally backdrop, a velvet structure and long length. 70% Pinot Noir 30% Chardonnay.
